Most people assume a site survey is about confirming a display can happen. In practice, it more often tells us what specific effects and shell counts are off the table — overhead power lines, dry brush within fallout radius, or a sightline that would put a burst directly behind a lighting rig.
We’ve never designed a display without a site visit first, regardless of how well-documented a venue already seems from photos or prior events.
